“Communications” is the act or process of using words, sounds, signs, or behaviors to express information, ideas, thoughts, opinions, feelings, etc.  Communications can have impact and consequences – both positive and negative.  When something that is communicated is false, negative, misleading or misunderstood, litigation often results.  This blog will seek to provide information, insight, analysis and perspective as it relates to why and how communications become a source of litigation.  It will also address the interrelationship and effects of communications with image and reputation as well as public perception and opinion.
